“Brachytherapy for Head and Neck cancers”

Dear Sir / Madam,

We would like to welcome you for the “XIIIth Annual TMH Practicum” to be held at Tata Memorial Hospital, Parel, Mumbai on 30th -31st October 2015. This is the 13th year of the annual course which is organized by Departments of Radiation Oncology and Medical Physics. The theme of the teaching course this year is “Brachytherapy for Head and Neck cancers”. The course will be conducted in collaboration with GEC-ESTRO.

This 2 day course will cover entire process of head and neck brachytherapy such as case selection, techniques for each sub-sites, post implant imaging, 3D CT based brachytherapy planning and treatment delivery. There will be live demonstration of the brachytherapy case for a particular sub-site of head and neck cancer. In addition there will be video presentations as well. Expert faculty members from GEC-ESTRO and renowned national faculty members will cover all the topics.

The target audience for the course will be radiation oncologists and medical physicists. Those who are already practicing brachytherapy for head neck cancer and those who are in the process of starting will be given preference. The course will be limited to 70 participants.
