Pay structures in various institutions compared to our state

Dear friends we have given pay scales of various Govt. Medical Colleges under central govt and state govt. What we are paid in Tamil Nadu Medical Service and Govt Medical Colleges are not on par with fifth central pay commission recommendations followed in our neighbour states and all india institutions.
Our counter parts in kerala are on agitation for revision of pay structures.
We deliver one of best services in health care when compared to all india standards. Tamil Nadu is one among best state in delivering health care.
On all health indicators we are above national average. With out doctors hard work these targets are impossible to reach. But what we are receiving in terms salary are far below fifth pay commission scales implemented in UPSC and in our neighbour states. On promotion also it would take a long time to reach next level. It is worse sons of most of our senior doctors working in software are getting pay above them.

In our state we have been kept at very low level in terms of pay scales in successive pay commissions. Only the initial pay 8000-275-13500 is on par with UPSC but on promotion the next scale is below that, not to talk about allowances. More over we are not given time bound promotion as in UPSC. Unless we are ready to fight for our right we wont get sixth pay commission revised scales. Think about it. What should we do? to get what we rightfully deserve!
