Greetings from TamilNadu Government Doctors Association.

As resolved by the Tamil Nadu Govt. Doctors Association it has been already informed that the association will go for 1 day token strike on 6.7.2009 to press our demand to implement the “Doctors Special Promotion Scheme” recommended by the 6th Central Pay Commission,

In order to avoid public inconvenience, it has been resolved to maintain emergency and life saving services on that day at all the district headquarters hospital and medical college hospitals/ institutes. The association has volunteered to depute the following members for the purpose. They will NOT sign the attendance register but will work to save lives.

The association request you to kindly give permission and let the “emergency team” work.
