On behalf of Indian Podiatry Association, it is our pleasure to inform you that after organizing successfully 04 workshops in 2012 & 04 workshops in 2013 in Delhi where in more than 1000 doctors (Diabetologists, Physicians, Surgeons, Physiotherapists) were trained by the esteemed faculty of Indian Podiatry, now to take this to different level. Indian Podiatry Association is launching Diabetic Footcare Workshops in 2014 in different cities of India.
Diabetic Foot Care or Podiatry is at a very incipient stage in our country but Diabetic Foot complications are increasing at an alarming pace. We have about more than 1 lakh lower limb amputations among Diabetic patients in our country per year. It should be the utmost endeavor of every Physician dealing with Diabetic Care, to give comprehensive Diabetic Foot Care to our patients so that we can reduce down the vast number of amputations among diabetic patients.
We are conducting for the third successive time live workshops in Diabetic Wound Management, VAC Therapy, Ultrasonic Debridement, a special workshop on Stem Cells in Diabetic Wounds, Gait Analysis, Orthotics, Offloading Techniques, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy & PRP Technique and also Launch of Online Podiatry course throughout the country where any doctor interested in Podiatry can avail this benefit and enhance their clinical skills.

district level is covered under National Health Mission (NHM). For planning, coordination, capacity building and
monitoring of various activities under NPCDCS, the Ministry invites applications from eligible candidates for the following

PhD in medicine through research: This is going to be the PhD in medicine through research. Doctors who have recognized Pg diploma/ MD/MS doctors are eligible for the program. And the doctors have the option to pay the same in three yearly installments. The students have the option to select the topics from both pre-clinical and clinical subjects.
